Overview

Trogon ODBC Database Monitor is the world leading ODBC database connection and query monitoring tool. This software provides you with the ability to check databases connectivity and accessibility utilizing local data sources and optionally SQL queries to verify that your databases are functioning properly. Most major database systems support ODBC, such as: Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, Paradox, FoxPro, SyBase, IBM LANDP, DB2.

You may get alert notifications with e-mail, sms, popup balloons or message boxes when your database is down or test queries return wrong values. Trogon ODBC Database Monitor provides ability to resolve database problems with SQL queries (executing stored procedures, modifying database tables content) or with external program execution. You can check any number of databases with this product.

Alerts

Data Source Availability
Database connectivity (Up/Down).
Data Source Health
Starts when database connection fail or test query error alert starts.
Data Source Connection Time
Time for connection to datasource (ms).
Data Source Request Time
Total time for executing all test queries (ms).
Test Queries Values
This value is a numeric value in first row/first column of SQL query's result table.

Actions

E-Mail
This action will send an e-mail with alert information to specified addresses.
SMS
This action can be used to send SMS notification to specific users.
Execute SQL
This action will execute specified SQL query.
Execute Program
On the occurrence of an alert, a user defined program can be executed.
User Interface
Show popup balloon/message box with the alert information or open application window.
